Vote for the Proposed Changes to KHIMA Bylaws
KHIMA is required to maintain bylaws that are reflective of the AHIMA bylaws. Therefore, the KHIMA Board is proposing bylaw changes which can be reviewed below.
Per section 14.1 of the current KHIMA bylaws, KHIMA members are given at least 30 days prior to voting to review any proposed bylaw changes.
Based on this requirement, official notification of the proposed changes was sent via email and the KHIMA members had until October 6, 2021, to review the changes.
It is now time to vote on these changes. Members will have from October 22, 2021, through November 10, 2021, to vote on the changes.

14.1 Adoption of Amendments
The Authority to amend these Bylaws shall be vested solely in the active members of this Association called for this purpose. A majority of the votes cast by the active members participating shall be sufficient to alter, repeal or adopt any new bylaw amendment, provided that a copy of the proposed amendment has been sent to every member at least thirty (30) days before the call for the vote.
