Why do you need this manual?
- Confirm the sources of rules and requirements. Our manual includes a detailed compilation of federal and state laws and the administrative guidelines organizations are expected to follow in healthcare.
- Checklists. Don’t have time to read the whole chapter? No problem! Jump to each chapter checklist for a quick overview of how your organization may fare when compared to expectations of agencies.
- Stay up to date. No time to monitor the thousands of pages of statutes, regulations, bills, manuals, and guidance that are constantly being released? We can help! We help incorporate major changes into the manual for annual updates and share interim updates periodically to help track the major issues affecting HIM functions.
- Don’t see what you need? Let us know! This resource is for you and KHIMA welcomes feedback on topics/issues you’d like to see incorporated into the manual.
