Call for KHIMA Board Nominations
The Kansas Health Information Management Association (KHIMA) Nominating Committee wants you to suggest fellow members and/or yourself as possible candidates for the KHIMA Board positions for the next fiscal year, July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
ALL NOMINEES MUST BE PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS OF AHIMA AND KHIMA.
Nominations are open for the following positions. Click here to view the current Board members and Committee Chairpersons and the position description for each position.
President-Elect — 3-year term (2026-2029)
- 2026-2027: President-Elect / Delegate
- 2027-2028: President / Delegate
- 2028-2029: Past-President / Delegate
Director — 2-year term (2026-2028)
- 2026-2027: 1st Year Director
- 2027-2028: 2nd Year Director / Delegate
Nominating Committee (2 candidates elected) — 1-year term
Call for Nominations Deadline: 01/15/26
The election will take place in February 2026, and the term for these elected positions will begin July 1, 2026. All nominees must be professional members of AHIMA and KHIMA.

The deadline for submission is January 15, 2026. Note: If a member volunteers for a component association, such as KHIMA, CCHIIM now allows you to claim CE hours for that volunteer work.
